I see so many parents every day that are having difficulties with their children's behavior. Sadly, a lot of these moms and dads just don't KNOW what to do and often respond in a way that makes the behavior worse.
It is so important to know where your child is at developmentally so you can both figure out what is bothering them and respond accordingly. It's important to know what THEY are looking for so you can provide it! It's amazing how often we see mom changing one reaction causing a major shift in the child's behavior and mood.
We'll also touch on things like safety, feeding, sleep, even car seats! There is so much to know as a new parent and it can be REALLY overwhelming.
Of course, every child is different. Please defer to your Pediatrician for medical advice. You may also have a child whose behavior is related to a medical issue or disorder. It's important to be vigilant always so you can intervene early when necessary.
Thank you for taking a step towards being an informed, educated parent. We want you to have a peaceful home and happy family and it's absolutely achievable. If you are feeling frustrated or angry on a daily basis, there's a good chance you just don't know where your kid is at and what you need to do to shape their behavior. Feeling out of control isn't necessary, so jump on in! Find your child's age range on the right to begin learning.
